Larry Pearson, President of Mississippi Ethanol, was recently awarded his Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University. Dr. Pearson, founder and President of Mississippi Ethanol, LLC, has been working toward his doctorate in Chemical Engineering since 2004.

Catalyst Renewables Corporation (CRC) has recently licensed Mississippi Ethanol's biomass to synthesis gas technology and intends to construct two plants utilizing the technology in the Lyonsdale, NY area. CRC plans to convert approximately 600 tons/day of biomass to power and liquid fuels. Catalyst Renewables’ mission is to own and operate a portfolio of projects that produces clean and renewable fuels with state-of-the-art technology to create an environmentally sound energy alternative.
Mississippi Ethanol, LLC Receives Third NASA Award - Posted on 28 Dec 2007
NASA has informed Mississippi Ethanol, LLC (ME) that it’s Phase I proposal titled "Non Intrusive, On-Line, Simultaneous Multi-Species Impurity Monitor in Hydrogen" was one of 26 proposals selected for negotiation under NASA’s Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. The company anticipates negotiations will be complete by the end of the year and that work on the project will start in mid January 2008. ME will work with Dr. Jagdish P. Singh and other researchers at Mississippi State University’s Institute for Clean Energy Technology (ICET) to deliver the Phase I deliverables to NASA-Stennis Space Center. This is Mississippi Ethanol’s third grant from NASA since 2004. The company previously received Phase I and Phase II awards totaling more that $700,000 for proposals on "Real Time Detection of Nitrogen in Liquid Oxygen". Mississippi Ethanol is a technology-based company with its focus on the development and licensing of technologies to improve efficiencies in the renewable energy arena.
